Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Stu Creatives LLC (“Stu Creatives,” “I,” or “me”) collects when you visit stucreatives.com, book a consultation, or work with me, and how that information is used and protected. Stu Creatives is a studio run by one person, so when you share information here, you are sharing it with me directly.

Information I collect

I only collect information that helps me respond to you, deliver my services, and run the business.

• Information you give me. Your name, email address, business name, website, and anything you choose to share when you book a consultation, answer booking questions, email me, or become a client.
• Payment information. Payments and invoices are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card details.
• Email subscriptions. If you sign up for resources or updates, your name and email address are stored with my email provider so I can send what you requested.
• Technical information. Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider may automatically record basic data such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you visit. Small files called cookies may be used to keep the site working properly and load it quickly.

How I use your information

• To schedule and prepare for consultations and calls
• To respond to your questions and communicate about your project
• To deliver services, send invoices, and process payments
• To send resources or updates you signed up for
• To keep the website secure and understand how it can work better
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not use it for any purpose you would not reasonably expect.

Services that help me run the studio

I use trusted third party tools to operate the business. Each one only receives the information it needs to do its job and handles your data under its own privacy policy.

• Calendly for booking consultations and collecting booking questions
• Stripe for payments and invoices
• MailerLite for email subscriptions
• Hostinger for website hosting and business email
• Notion for organizing client projects
• Zoom, Google Meet, and Loom for calls and project walkthroughs
• Google Fonts for displaying the typeface on this site, which may share your IP address with Google when a page loads

This site also links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and The Creatives Guidebook. Once you leave stucreatives.com, the privacy policy of that site applies.

Email communication

If you subscribe to emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any message. Emails about an active project or booking are part of working together and are not marketing.

How long I keep information

I keep your information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as required for legal, tax, and accounting records. When it is no longer needed, I delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

How I protect your information

I use reputable, secure platforms and limit access to your information to what is necessary to serve you. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share with me.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me at any time to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask me to stop sending you marketing emails. Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, or certain U.S. states, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. I will honor any request that applies to you and respond within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

This website and my services are intended for adults and businesses. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has shared information with me, please contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as my services or tools change. When I do, I will update the effective date at the top of this page.
